Michelle Jewell is a seasoned marketing and administrative professional with a proven track record in streamlining operations, enhancing brand visibility, and driving engagement through creative strategies. With expertise in managing schedules, coordinating teams, and ensuring efficient corporate operations, Michelle brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to the Soybean Science for Success team.

Currently, Michelle serves as our Program Assistant based at North Carolina State University (NCSU). Since joining the team in January 2025, she has been instrumental in supporting a variety of administrative tasks, marketing initiatives, and project assistant responsibilities Michelle’s ability to manage tasks efficiently and her proactive approach to problem-solving make her a vital asset to the team. Her dedication to fostering collaboration and her adeptness at handling diverse administrative duties underscore her commitment to the success of the program and its initiatives. You will usually find her super focused into current task and can be heard to say “it is all good.”

Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Campbell University in 2018. After college and during her time in the music industry, she gained experience/certificates in the marketing and administration fields.  She holds a Social Media Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy. She is proficient in a wide range of tools and skills, including Canva, Hootsuite, copywriting, content marketing, Sprout Social, Google Workspace, Asana, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Cloud, project management, brand management, collaboration, time management, communication, public relations, customer service, event coordination, and more. Her detail-oriented approach, organizational skills, empathic listening, divergent thinking, and adaptability make her an invaluable asset to any team.

Outside of work, Michelle possesses a wide array of engaging interests that keep her curiosity piqued. You might  find her reading books or listening to audiobooks, binging a new movie/tv series, starting a new crochet project, and spending her nights playing video games. Michelle and her partner love to take trips to local parks, attend events like Renaissance Festival/ComicCon, and travel to new destinations both nationally and globally. 

Michelle’s diverse interests and her passion for both work and play make her a fun and dynamic individual who enjoys exploring new experiences and making the most out of life.
