The Better Together Initiative aims to increase the coordination, efficiency, and reach of checkoff funded outreach programs with groups like the Crop Protection Network, GROW (Getting Rid of Weeds), Science for Success, Take Action, and The SCN Coalition, alongside checkoff partners such as the Soybean Research & Information Network.

Through this collaboration, we are able to synergize existing resources to improve efficiency in content generation and delivery, and elevate release of timely and relevant information developed by land-grant institutions. In 2024, we created Bean Binoculars, an online tool designed to track soybean issues in real time. Working with the United Soybean Board, the Initiative was able to create a physical and digital resource outlining the various groups and projects involved.
