You’ve done what you can all year to set your soybeans up for success, but the season isn’t over yet. To meet late-season challenges, Science for Success is pleased to announce our 2026 national webinar, Soybeans Down the Stretch: Managing Late-Season Challenges.
The webinar will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET/12:00 PM CT. It will feature leading researchers discussing solutions for some of the most pressing late season challenges facing soybean producers. It will be moderated by Rachel Vann, lead PI for Science for Success and Associate Professor of Cropping Systems at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She will be joined on the panel by Justin Calhoun (Mississippi State University), Seth Naeve (University of Minnesota), and Christy Sprague (Michigan State University).
In addition to the panel of experts, two additional speakers will share the latest research updates on two recent national Science for Success trials. Mark Kendall from the University of Wisconsin–Madison will discuss “Impact of Harvest Aids on Soybean.” Prabath Senanayaka Mudiyanselage from The Ohio State University will discuss “Harvest Timing Effect on Soybean Seed Quality.”
The webinar will be approximately 1 hour long, with the majority of the time dedicated to Q&A from the audience. Certified Crop Advisers are able to earn 0.5 Crop Management and 0.5 Integrated Pest Management CEUs for participation.
This webinar is free to join and open to anyone, but registration is required. Register at https://go.illinois.edu/S4Swebinar2026.
